Booking is online only via the SIMplifica portal; no booking or payment is taken at IFCN sites. You reserve an entry time slot; slots have limited capacity and close when full. A tolerance of roughly 15 minutes around your slot is generally given (IFCN FAQ 1.1-1.5). Refund/reschedule only if the trail was officially closed on your booking date, requested within 10 working days (FAQ 3.x). Free for children aged 12 or under, Madeira residents (with proof) and people with a disability of 60% or more plus one guardian - registration/reservation is still required for all of them (IFCN FAQ 2.8-2.9). Landowners adjacent to the route are exempt from booking and fee (FAQ 2.10). Combined fares for two or more trails (not PR 1): EUR 9.00 per day, EUR 22.50 for 3 days, EUR 52.50 for 7 days; the system applies the cheapest option automatically (FAQ 2.1-2.3), and each trail must still be reserved separately.
